Cambridge University Sri Lanka Society

Cambridge University Sri Lanka Society aims to provide a community for students that share an interest in Sri Lankan traditions, culture and history!

We hold numerous events throughout the year ranging from casual meet ups to formals.

We are working with Project Access to make Cambridge more accessible to Sri Lankans!

Cambridge can be a stressful place! We’re here to help students take some time to relax and just chill out from time to time!

Keep up to date with all things Sri Lanka Soc on our Facebook page!

A taste of Sri lanka in Cambridge

Our mission is to represent the growing Sri Lankan community in Cambridge and introduce other nationalities to our vibrant culture and heritage.
Cambridge University Sri Lanka Society aims to provide a community for students who share an interest in Sri Lankan traditions, culture and history!

The Sri Lanka society was founded with the aim of providing a focal point for members of Cambridge University who have an interest in Sri Lanka, maintaining an open and impartial status. We seek to promote appreciation and enthusiasm within the University for Sri Lankan culture, religions, languages, food, sports, and every other aspect that makes it such a unique and incredible nation. As a charitable society, we aim to contribute as much as possible to our carefully selected charity every year, and proceeds of all our events go towards this charity. Our Society has raised considerable amounts of money for charity over the years, and has contributed significantly to various charitable causes to help those who need it most in Sri Lanka.
